I'm not sure how to post comments as follow up to Dirtier but I want to leave you with a piece I include on my site. It might be helpful to gardeners with deer issues. Try this:
http://vermontflowerfarm.com/Deer%20Control%20Ideas.html

Deer are taking out lots of plants, shrubs and trees and are out of control in a number of eastern states. One of my favorite native plants is Trillium grandiflorum which is always on their menu. There are times when the deer population leads us to fencing but there are some things folks might consider first. Hope this might help someone.

George Africa
The Vermont Gardenervermontflowerfarm@outlook.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03923885023694355932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2472106550298298679.post-52330341294513119462010-02-04T14:33:42.791-05:002010-02-04T14:33:42.791-05:00Visit CRG Gallery.Visit CRG Gallery.Fit Bughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16983970212106734687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2472106550298298679.post-62225185449346846502010-01-04T11:30:01.196-05:002010-01-04T11:30:01.196-05:00My sisters Holly bush was covered from head to toe...My sisters Holly bush was covered from head to toe this year..Year ago she had flowers on it in the spring..Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05902975885396399537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2472106550298298679.post-56344655190019750152009-12-14T02:41:28.832-05:002009-12-14T02:41:28.832-05:00The radio show was lots of fun, and I'll liste...The radio show was lots of fun, and I'll listen to Ken again even without the excitement of DianneB as a guest."Daffodil Planter" Charlotte Germanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04892686231029047130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2472106550298298679.post-32543582898800605952009-11-02T17:37:04.691-05:002009-11-02T17:37:04.691-05:00After 20+ years I exchanged plant society boards i...After 20+ years I exchanged plant society boards in favor of pro bono with community landscapes (schools, neighborhoods).

Last weekend I was on my knees planting daffodil bulbs for a community garden I designed during summer.

With sureness I know those daffodil bulbs are one of the most important things I've done.
